Monopoly Live: Number 1 & Rolls Strategy
In search of more strategic gameplay plans for Monopoly Live, we devised another “alternative” Monopoly Gambling strategy that we decided to try out and see whether it brings benefits. Its application doesn’t differ significantly from the concept behind the Number 10 & Rolls Progressive strategy we have already covered. The difference is – instead of betting on Number 10 and the two bonus segments, in this game plan we placed bets on the Number 1 and the two bonus segments, with a particular agenda regarding bet size on the Rolls segments.
There are 22 segments with the Number 1 and they all pay even odds. We were adamant to placing constant €1 bets on Number 1, whereas on 2 Rolls/4 Rolls segments our wager would increase by €0.20 after each 10 spins during which the wheel would not land on the 2 Rolls or the 4 Rolls segment. The strategy didn’t result in massive wins, but it proved to be a stable scheme. Find out below how our 61-spins-long session went.
Off to a Good Start
We began our session with a bankroll of €70, placing a fixed €1 bet on Number 1 and initial €0.40 on 2 Rolls and €0.10 on 4 Rolls. The very first spin of the wheel resulted in a 2 Rolls bonus which led to Chance and a 3x multiplier.
In the 2 Rolls round, Mr Monopoly landed on Chance, revealing a 3x multiplier. On the re-spin, the multiplier of 6x was added and our round ended with a €4 total win. Not ideal, but not too shabby either. Since we initially landed on 2 Rolls, our bets for the bonus segments remained €0.40 and €0.10, respectively.
Small Wins Here and There
Our session continued in a hopeful atmosphere, and the host changed between our 4th and 5th spin. Would this affect our luck, we wondered, but soon, on the 12th spin, we triggered the 2 Rolls bonus round again and managed to bag another €4.20 after betting €1 – €0.60 – €0.30. Then, there was nothing worth getting excited about for a long time except for a single Chance.
It wasn’t until the 34th spin that we activated the 2 Rolls bonus and rolled a 7 and another 7 for 5x and 12x multipliers that would turn into a bonus win of €14.40. Thanks, Mr Monopoly! Another Chance soon after granted us an €8.40 cash win and for the several spins that followed there were some Number 1s to help us stay afloat and not tank too much of our bankroll while waiting for a bigger payout.
Decent Run with a Banger Finishing Chapter
In anticipation of the 4 Rolls bonus round, we kept playing and a stroke of luck helped us win €20.40 on the 49th spin of the Monopoly wheel. We entered the 2 Rolls bonus and doubled our doubles by rolling a 12 and ultimately a 10. After four spins, the combo of 5x, 18x, 5x and 5x multipliers made all the difference.
We liked where this was going, and could have stopped there with a cool profit. However, we decided to go on. For another series of spins, nothing extraordinary happened. One could argue that we should have cashed out right then and there since we improved our initial bankroll at this juncture.
The long-awaited 4 Rolls round came eventually, but the results we expected from it were anticlimactic. On our final 61st spin, the wheel stopped on the 4 Rolls segment and we got to watch Mr Monopoly strut across the gorgeous 3D board once more. The Income Tax on the first roll didn’t do us any favours, much like the Jail on the second one, and even though we rolled a double on the third dice roll, the total outcome was no higher than €18.70. The opportunity was there, but the circumstances decreased the profit which could have been significantly bigger if it weren’t for our small rolls and Jail and Income Tax fields.

Summary
The session was concluded after an hour or so, leaving us with an impression that we could have won more with just a sprinkle of luck on top, but we enjoyed the run all the way through and were never in a risk to lose too much. The fact that Number 1 sections hit more frequently and will not drain betting funds as quickly as some other segments on the wheel helps a lot to make this strategy viable.
Our trial ended in a positive score, certainly left us in a better position than the Number 10 & Rolls Progressive Strategy did. We will continue to explore new ways of approaching Monopoly Live and will report back with our experiences, impressions and recommendations so that you can enjoy this Evolution hit game show to the fullest.
